The Pull Plan Coach is an AI teammate on a project. Once a week it checks the schedule and posts a check-in card in the project's Comments: which promises were kept last week, what's due this week, and what could get in the way. It never changes anything itself; people answer it in a click.
Switch it on
- Open the project's Overview and find the Agents card. You need to run the project (an owner, admin or the project's admin).
- Click Set it up…, pick the day and time it runs (your time zone) and how many weeks ahead it looks.
- Click Switch on. Click Run now to see a check-in straight away.
What it posts
- Last week's promises kept, as a number and a percent, with the trend over earlier weeks.
- The promises that weren't kept, @mentioning each Responsible person to ask what got in the way. They see it in their Inbox and by email.
- What's due this week, by person, and anything with nobody responsible.
- Open RAIDD actions, issues and dependencies that could block the next few weeks.
- Every promise and RAIDD item on the card is a chip: click it to open it. Read as text shows the coach's note.
Answer it: why did it slip?
- Under each missed promise, click the reason: Waiting on information, Waiting on a decision, Design change and so on. That's saved straight away.
- Give it a New date if you know one, and a short note, then Save. The task's due date moves on the schedule.
- If something needs chasing, click Log in RAIDD. It adds a RAIDD item (a Decision, Dependency or Issue, to suit the reason), linked to the task, so it shows up as a blocker until it's closed.
- Picked the wrong one? Click Change.
- Over the weeks the reasons add up to Why promises slip, on the check-in and on the Agents card. Fix the reason at the top, not the people.
- The coach doesn't ask again about a miss someone already explained, and it points out a reason that keeps coming back.
- Anyone on the project can give a reason, guests included. Only whoever gave it, or runs the project, can change it.
Good to know
- A promise is a task with nothing under it, with a Responsible person and a due date. The Timeline is the easiest place to set these up; see Run the session.
- It runs with the access of the person who switched it on, and only posts comments.
- If AI is off for your firm, it still posts the same facts, written plainly.
- Its check-ins have an AI agent tag. Read it on the Agents card jumps to each one.
- Switch off on the card stops it; its earlier check-ins stay in Comments.
